Rachel Mason-Thomas

Rachel Mason-Thomas joined the practice in July 1999. She has worked on over 600 liquidations and receiverships, and has been taking appointments since 2006.
Rachel works alongside Karen Mason, specialising in solvent liquidations, liquidations of incorporated societies, and liquidation of complex groups of companies. Together, they have developed a highly specialised section of the practice and regularly advise accountants and other professionals.
We have a wealth of experience across all industries and types of companies. Large or small, complex multi-company distributions, thorny issues and complications, as well as straightforward and simple structures, we can assist on all matters to do with solvent liquidations.
As well as writing articles for our newsletter and other publications, Rachel has spoken at many seminars, on topics ranging from the PPSR and security priorities, trusts, phoenix companies, director’s liabilities, and legislative changes.
Rachel is a fully qualified lawyer, and is a member of both the Auckland District Law Society and the New Zealand Law Society.
